My latest is a thriller. I didn’t think it was my most suspenseful, but several readers have made this exact comment: “It was really good, but also I’m a little afraid of you!” 😅

Can you share what the book's about?

Sure, THE CLINIC is a female-driven thriller set in the high-stakes world of a fertility clinic. The main character is a cancer survivor who has to freeze her eggs to preserve her chances of having a child. Years later, still without a partner, she decides to take the IVF plunge by herself. All is well, until her ex (and love of her life) comes into the clinic with his wife in tow. They’d like to use her services… chaos ensues!

I LOVE this high-stakes, highly charged setting! What made you decide to set a thriller in a fertility clinic?

I have a science background. My personal backstory includes 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry, so I’m actually a bit of a science nerd. I read an article on IVF and the god-like power these professionals hold and it gave me…ideas… 💉
